A woman from the Philippines was robbed by four men and a woman at a public recreational site in Taipa, Macau, last week. At 11:50am on Thursday, police received a report from the woman that she had been robbed by a group of five people at Rotunda do Estádio in Taipa in the wee hours of that morning, Macau Daily News reported.
The five people approached the woman and ordered her in English to give them all her valuables, including her handbag, a mobile phone worth 3,500 patacas (US$434), a watch and her passport.
The group fled after getting the valuables. The woman called the police, who are investigating the case. No one has been arrested so far.
The police did not disclose whether the Filipino victim was a tourist or a migrant worker. They also did not disclose the nationality of the robbers.
