The driver of a truck that killed a Filipino family in the United States last July has pleaded guilty to seven charges.

The Filipino family was traveling along the Delaware Highway on their way home to New Jersey when a pickup truck driven by a 44-year-old man crashed into their van, Delaware Online reported.

Mary Rose Trinidad was the sole survivor of the crash while her husband Audie, and their four daughters, succumbed to their injuries.

On Wednesday, Alvin Hubbard III, the driver of the truck, pleaded guilty to five counts of operating a vehicle causing death, one for each person killed and for second-degree and third-degree vehicular assault.

Investigators found no evidence of drugs or alcohol involved. But Hubbard admitted that his lack of attention and negligent driving caused the family’s deaths and injuries.

Hubbard will be handed his sentence in September and could face up to 14 years in prison and a fine of US$3,450.

  1. This design is wicked! You certainly know how to keep a reader entertained. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Wonderful job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!

  6. Hey this is kinda of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding expertise so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Thank you

  9. Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
