Twenty-three people were trapped on a roller coaster at Hong Kong’s Ocean Park for 41 minutes on Sunday evening.
At 6:24 pm, the roller coaster, called The Dragon, stopped automatically at the track’s first turn when a mechanical fault was identified by the safety system, RTHK reported.
Staff members helped the passengers get out of the ride and walk back to the platform between 6:40pm and 7:05pm. No one was injured.
The ride has been shut down by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department pending an investigation, Sing Pao reported.
On September 10, 2016, 21 passengers were trapped on the same ride at the park in Wong Chuk Hang for 12 minutes.
