Police are still looking for a man who commuters say was armed with a pistol when he boarded a subway train at the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station at 5.40pm on Wednesday, local media reported.

The man, aged between 30 and 40, was wearing a red T-shirt, black trousers, black shoes and he had a blue messenger bag when he boarded the Central-bound train, Oriental Daily reported.

Officers from the Counter Terrorism Response Unit rushed to Admiralty and Central stations, searching for armed man, who could not be found, Apple Daily reported.
