The Financial Times reports that UK appliance manufacturer Dyson at least tripled its revenue last year in each of China, Indonesia and the Philippines.

The growth spurred a 41% rise in profits in 2016, as the company continues its expansion drive, with recent investments of more than US$3 billion.

Founder Sir James Dyson says the company’s efforts to develop new technologies has paid off and is responsible for their recent gains.
